Yesterday, I was looking for a pair of shoes...instead I found my red box of letters.

I hadn't seen it in a while-hadn't even missed it, didn't even know
is was at the bottom of my cupboard.

I realised I had moved one too many times in the recent years.

I knew what was inside-my life, my highs and lows.
letters, cards and notes, from friends and boyfriends.

But most espacially, love letters in birthday Cards from my
    mother.

I didn't even realise how much I missed her until I read her
cards-my cards. The bad ones were we hated each other...and the final ones...beautiful, deep and loving..I cried, I laughed and I realised I have so much, yet it seems so long ago.

I have people to call, people to find, people to let go off...
My red box of letters,...who ever thought....

Oh how I can relate. I appreciate the way you've shared your treasures with us. And yes, this is the best kind of serendipity....when we find much more than we were looking for.

    I'm feeling you!

    How beautifully done!

    Beautiful sentiment!
Mine is a blue shoe box, but the contents symbolize the same.
Wonderful to have you must cherish them always!
    Blessings on Ya House!

I am so glad that everyone's getting in touch with our memories. There is an element of growth involved in looking back and thinking..."what was I doing...or thinking!!!! for that matter. I know I always have a good laugh when I pull out my teenage diaries which detail the ins and outs of my crushes, boyfriends etc...quite funny actually..
