And how would the world be different without you, most humble one?

Someone will miss you if you are not here.
Noone can do your mission,
push forward with your kind of solid dedication,
or quiet determination.
Noone can teach the lessons you are supposed to bring.
Noone can give your hugs,
or your special brand of love,
or even your hateful, spiteful ways the way you do.
Noone can have your experiences,
or gain the resulting compassion the same as you.

Noone is like you.

Don't get the feeling any of this is by accident:
We are in this place,now, by design;
trying to grab the lesson the Devine One has for us.
And all of our problems...
the children, the men, the women,
all of those relationships,
are for us to get our lessons.
(Whatever they are for us.)

Now, understand, of course, we always have choices:
We can choose to be still, listen, and learn--
catch it the first time.
Or we can ignore the lesson completely.

But do that,
and we'll end up like a record with a scratch...
moving endlessly in the same groove,
making the same noises,
going nowhere.

Oh, but humble one, I have faith in you.
You have a glorious, glorious lifesong
to sing....

You've just got to open wide, and sing it.
