    Malcolm X first used this term publicly in a debate with James Baldwin, back in the 60s

    Dr Amos Wilson wrote extensively about modalities towards self sufficiency,
    of this nation within a nation and self development, since the government tends to neglect the black community and affirmative action no longer exists, in 1998 in "Blueprint for Black Power"

    with the impending cuts in all government programs, the loss of jobs and the impending foreclosures, the school closings,
    and the rise in overt racism on every level of American society,

    why is the well thought out concept of us as Black people in this nation as being a nation witihn a nation, now with a trillion dollars spending power;
    something that has not yet sunk in after 45 years and so many obvious indicators?
