    Hello and Welcome Ishefa!

Thank you for contributing information to our home. I'm going to move
this thread to the religion forum. Only poetry in allowed in the poetry
forums. Since we do have a thread in the religion forum addressing the Sibyl,
it would be a great opportunity and easier to find for folks already interested in the Sibyl.

Again, Welcome and Thank you for the information.

    Hi Ishefa
    Welcome to Destee!
So true, poets, story tellers as well as drummers leaves a crumb trail of some of our history.
And the present poets leave a bit of the past which is really in our present for the ones who are
young and not yet born to pick up where we left off. And hopefully not repeat the same
crazy mistake that got us misplaced in the first place. As well as being a teaching tool.
In regards to love, sorrow and other feelings

What's so interesting is that even if a million or more people read the same words
that only a few will be able to single out the deeper meaning that’s encoded in the
verbs and nouns on a spiritual as well as a physiological level.

Thank you for the links you provided, it is also in the thread This Woman Work.
Which I see you found and posted to Wonderful!

    Thank you so much.

I am alittle afriad of saying this, but here goes.

I think that link belongs with the poets. They are the ones who need to know the history in order to capture the essence of our people. I think to remove it is a mistake. I respect the moderator and will abide by their wishes. But I do wish they might reconsider. I think sometimes we have learned to compartmentalize our culture like the europeans. Music, poetry, history, art all belong in the same class. That is what inspires.

Please forgive me moderator of the Poets. I am not trying to offend and will respect your decision.

    love,
    Ishefa :-(

    This blows the mind

Finally, all of the unanswered pieces come together after watching these.
I always wondered why there were so many "pagan" artifacts and symbols within the Vatican, and to what extent the Black Madonna/Isis played in religion. The power behind this information is staggering. I remember having a discussion once with a Christian friend of mine and we were discussing Africa and her challenges. I said that until Patriarchy died, and the men embraced their womben in their rightful place Africans of the motherland and diaspora would not be unified or strong. I believed that without really understanding why! Up to this day I find that Christianity is a spiritual death amongst our people because of the subservience it demands from women and the obliteration of them from history.
I pray for the day when we douse it's patriarchal fire with the libations of truth.

    Thanks for posting both slideshows.
