I am so very happy to announce that the search for a home has been concluded. Dad, baby and I have found a nice place to lay our heads for the next year at least! The apartment is within walking distance to hubby's work, near parks, shopping and a river (Thank you Oshun!) and the building is well maintained. There is a little less sq ft than we are used to, but all the womben in my family know how to make excellent use of space and plastic organizers, so I am not worried!
We get to move in for July 1st and leave this slumlord behind us as a bad memory! Happy dance here....
and there are many people who have come together to make this happen.
I must thank my mom, who has generously loaned us the damage deposit, and the rest of my fam who is contributing to helping us move in, so that I don't have to unpack and set up by myself.
Of course, there is every good soul and heart that wished us well, sent us good thoughts and energies to lift us up when we were down. We will remember this and pass it along.
I am blessed to have this gift in my life, and a healthy family to share it with. The baby is doing well, I have 2 months left to go (whew).
Due to a very small concern, I am assigned to staying off my feet for the duration of the pregnancy - it will be easier to relax now that we have a good place to live.
