    Wrapped up in plastic
The brown pages kept from the air
    Afraid of crumbling

    So many stories
    Hist’ry in books, magazines
    Written on earth’s trees

    We,also earth’s trees
    Molded and shaped human beings
    Turn again to dust

    Stand in consciousness
    Embracing all seasons – Flow
    Sweet creative sap

    Let the wind snap you
Snow cover you, sun warm you
    Rain wash you to Life

    E-ven-tu-al-ly
    Tender,delicate, fragile
    Not today –NO WAY!

    unique testaments

    Trees, sacrificed for

    learn to hear cries
    pray for all living beings
    rest under the elm

    i sit by the tree
    moving against the fierce winds
    alas! it is me!

    how nature can fit...
    into the sculpture we are...
    it is such the gift!

    Spirit, don't keep me
    immune to humanity
    unfeeling, not free

    somehow I've escaped
    cynicism's cold, hard grasp
    compassion flow down
