    Yesterday’s lips are smacking themselves,
To the inner caves of my ear.
    Preaching and prophesying destiny’s,
    Forgotten in dust hidden years.
    Wooden carved chairs faintly whispering,
Come take the road not traveled.
    Wind becoming as scissors,
Cutting off parts of me the world left bedraggled.
    Lonely-slowly-down the road,
    Memories zoom as butterflies do.
Just giving you long enough to catch a glimpse,
Of the happiness that was for you.
    Looking at the footprints,
    That my sole left behind.
Not making a mistake of wavering,
    But pressing forward this time.
    The underbrush is quite thick,
    But movable all the same.
And then yesterday’s lips smack themselves together,
    As our once did twain.
    Misty haze of foggy substance,
Clouds an image my eyes can’t perceive.
An object my being left behind,
    Is who it is—I believe.
Uplifting like the ball of fire,
    Sitting in complete emptiness.
    The haze turns purple—like passion,
    Smoothly stroking my mixed essence.
The road not traveled seems all too good,
    Too perfect—and too fair.
Almost hard to believe that ,
My feet had really took me there.
    But with every elevating step,
    A step was erased.
For I had not chosen this road,
    For my destined place.
The dew that sat upon the daisy,
Was none other than my own.
And all my joy building up inside,
Lost more sweetness than a honeycomb.
    Vacation over mystery solved-but not,
    The way I had planned.
For before leaving this magical place,
    I sought to understand.
    But yesterday’s lips closed themselves,
Never again to smack its purple haze.
To give me a glimpse of an opportunity,
    Offered in earlier days.
    For with every elevating step,
    A step was erased.
For I had not chosen this road,
    For my destined place…

This piece brings to my my what if thoughts, and wondering if this road is the road that was meant to be. This scribe was so rich in decription, you gave the reader more than just a glimpse. I was into this in depth piece.

all we need is to see a glimpse of the future and we hope, but what do we hope for if we see the whole picture? you can change the frame, but the picture remains the same...thank you fam...PeAcE
