A FORMULA FOR A MATHEMATICAL EQUATION FOR THE PASSIONS OF LUKEWARM

    By Andre Austin

Before I get into the religious aspects of this essay let me get into its counterpart of Political aspects. With the current passions of Democrats vs Republican please consult the federalist papers #49 & 50 written by Hamilton or Madison. Just yesterday, Vice President Pence received a righteous lecture to do justice for all America at a Broadway play on Hamilton is timely for this article.

“The danger of disturbing the public tranquility by interesting too strongly the public passions, is still more serious objection against a frequent reference of constitutional questions to the decision of the whole society…the passions, therefore not the reason, of the public would sit in judgement. But it is the reason, alone, of the public that ought to control and regulate the government. The passions ought to be controlled and regulated by the government”. ( The Federalist #49). The writers here didn’t want philosopher Kings but its substitution of Laws.

Trump must block any passions of racism and discrimination so that the entire whole of the USA can feel they have a vested interest in the entire community with a “Common Passion”. And Trump must know that his allegiance with Christian fanatics must be bridled and take heed to John Stuart Mill when he wrote “it a great error to persist in attempting to find in the Christian doctrine that complete rule for our guidance” (Of liberty of thought and discussion).

    #50 :

“When exercise their reason coolly and freely on a variety of distinct questions, they inevitably fall into different opinions on some of them. When they are governed by a common passion, their opinions, if they are so to be called, will be the same”.

What can unite the common passions of The Red and the Blue is an oasis of jobs springing up within the borders of the United States. As said by a famous rap/poet “If it don’t make Dollars it Don’t make sense/reason”. For the sake of the union we must avoid impassioned partisan. The passions of Trump’s disciples must be harnessed so that the wicker doesn’t ignite the stick of dynamite out there.

Now lets explore the negative and positive passions defined in the New Testament.

So if I put this into a math equation it would look like this W+P= H & C, also W+P is opposite of L & W. These letters are abbreviations of the list below. So here is a short list of some the negative attributes and their opposite effects of the Lukewarm Laodicea (Rev 3:17):

    Wretched (distress, deplorable, or miserable)

    Pitiful (unhappy/miserable)

St Augustine and Thomas Aquinas applied Wretched and pitiful to the passionless Stoics now make my hypothesis about Lukewarm beyond an indirect proof. The W+P are variable that transfer and correlate into the same two words of the negative Hot & Cold.

The Stoic Epictetus defended himself and others with not being Wretched and Unhappy in conjunction with the punishment/disciple of his own exile order by Emperor Domitian.

Wretched and pitiful are basically two words sharing the same synonyms with eachother. Because Rev chapter 3 is engaging in a comparison and contrast we can map out two words that are twins that mean the same thing in come to Hot and Cold negative passion. Both are negative because both their associated attributes wretched and pitiful are negative.

Lukewarm is two words combined but Luke (Look) and warm are associated with the positive effects of having correct vision being protected from negative effects of Hot & Cold.

What did the Stoic historian Pliny the Elder mean when he said “Nature has provided the eye with many thin membranes and hard outside coverings as a protection against cold and heat she cleans the eyes with moisture....” (Natural History Book 11:147).

How do these two Bible quotes below relate to Pliny and the 3rd chapter of Revelations?

“Blessed are the pure in heart (compasiionate), for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8)

“Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God”. (3 John verse 12)

In Egypt Tefnut-maat was moisture and helps save the eyes of Ra and open the eyes of Adam and Eve in the garden She is born by being spit out just like Lukewarm is the same spit Jesus uses to help the blind see.

Therefore the W+P= H & C are like an harmonious golden section between eachother

    The W+P is opposite of L & W
