She said he was a fine-*** man
Said he could make a lady out of her
Or she could make a pimp out of him
    A fine-*** man
    But who was the man
    She could not see within

    Would he treat her nice
    Care for her every need
Or would he just look good
    While making her lip bleed

    A fine-*** man
    Would his looks be enough
Would he work hard and steady
    When times got tough

    Fine-*** man
    Girlfriends filled with envy
    But with him comes issues
    Far, far too many
She'll be called a lucky lady
    Talked about and admired
Would his fineness be all that's required?

She should look at him closely
    Beneath his smooth, golden skin
    See all she can see
    Hopefully she'll understand
Something fine has a tendency to be weak
There must be more than fineness
Something more than a fine-*** man

Momma always said that which looks good, isn't necessarily good for ya, he he he. I feel you on this piece. I'm like this, if I'm interested in a woman who wants a fine *** man, and not me, he, they can have each other. Know what I'm sayin'

    too many times

we get hooked on the outward presentation....never imagining there should be a thorough inspection of "fineness" on the inside....

(but of course, that process takes too much time for most people)

    well done, poet

how many hearts have been hurt because they only looked at the pretty paper and the big red bow, never took the time to open the present and look inside...well said ..

    Speak!

**** this is good--a fine *** man or woman--got to be more there than fine--fine don't last forever, but bad character certainly will--well done--Amun-Ra
