    did you grow up
    in a
    father-lacking household
    where
    mother
    played
    father
    played so many other roles

who taught you to be a man
    ...to stand when you pee

who taught you that anything you wanna be
    you can be

    who

    did you grow up
    in a fatherless home
    feeling all alone
coz the man you wanna be
you don't know how to be
    your only example
    was absentee

    feel me

    did you grow up
    in a
    father-lacking household
where mother played father played so many other roles

    did you?

TOO MANY of dem around these dayz...

TOO MANY Mommaz trying to be both Momma and Daddy 'coz Daddy won't stand up. TOO MANY Sons deprived of the example they need, in how to be a REAL MAN. TOO MANY Daughters that don't know what to look for in a man 'coz they didn't have a real man around for her to see what he be like.

    TOO MANY Father-Lacking Households.:(

    Baller.....

my father was there from the beginning...
    I can only imagine.....only imagine
how it would be without one
I know how I feel now........
I don't think it would be the same
if I didn't have him in my life
    he made all the difference
my heart goes out to those
    who haven't experience it.....

Growing up without my father was very difficult and for many years I was in tremendous pain because of his absence but now that I have come to know him as an adult I have forgiven him for his past neglect but in the process I have come to know the children he did claim as his own and raise in his home and I am glad that I was not one of them.

One moment of pleasure does not a father make.

    THANKS FOR SHARING...

i have a "half-sister" who wouldn't have anything to do with me coz she says i stole her father away...that wasn't the case but it was her excuse for hating the rest of us--she was the product of an affair my father had early in his marriage. now, she and i have reconciled our differences and we're finally sister and brother. when i think of the years we lost...wasted because of it, i know that was time that could have been better spent.
