    The Pusher

A prisoner of my own weakness

    Has me feeling defeated

    And Uncompleted

I waged war against my on people

Who feel like they’ve been cheated

This life has a price I must pay

    And one day

I’ll have to answer for the mistakes

I so often barred away I continue to pretend

    That my sins

    Do not haunt me

At the end of the day

    So I pray

To keep the evil spirits at bay

    But they wont stop

    Call the cops

Cause I’m back on the block

    Selling rock

    Product bought

Somebody said you reap what you sow

They said an eye for an eye As the junkies get high

Apart of me starts to die

    Addicted to my own hustle

I start to struggle with reality

My un taxed salary had the capacity to leave several families in tragedy

Who would of thought when this crack was bought

It would tear the whole community apart

The cops fought to keep the streets clean

The teachers taught to stay away from people like me

The only way to truly be free

Is for the law to puts me away for a century

    In the penitentiary

    And throw away the key

Everyone has a conscience, whether one listens to it or not is another story. To be able to give an unpopular side to a story and still keep us glued is quite a talent.
