    Demons are in the electricity
I know because when I turn on my lights
Lightening Strikes and trees begin to fall down
And the entire neighborhood goes black
Without flipping the switch, my sprinklers start
Bathing my lawn in a very thick blood—
And human heads pop up out of my grass
Eyes with no pupils, thunder, very loud thunder
It’s loud enough to shake the universe.
Now I don’t have air condition or heat
Just a gas stove and very cold showers
No life after daylight hours because
    Demons are in the electricity.
A crazy poem ends, do you have one?

    The Old Man in the Alley…{repost}

    In a valley
    Far…far away
There lived an old man of yesterday
    Stubbly…
    Gray…
    And very old
    At least, rumor has it
    And, too, I’m told
    He walked the back streets
    Of that old, northern town
    Moaning and groaning
    After the sun went down

    The women…they feared him
    Children…ran away
    As he traveled the alleys
Whispering words too gruesome to say

    Dogs scurried away
    Whenever he approached
    …the cats and rats
    and even the ****-roach

    No animal was safe
    When he was around
    So they ran for cover
    When they heard his sound

You could hear the man moaning
    Throughout the night
    Send chills down your spine
    Creating great fright
    At what it could be
That could cause him to moan
    He…who fears none
    And force animals home

    It’s been a long time
Since that one has been seen
    But the stories spread on
    That he’s ruthless and mean
    NOW…
    The sounds of the night
    Keeps the kiddies in line
    Parents be telling ghost stories
    Since the beginning of time

    Deep…in someone’s memory
    Of yesterday
An old man of foul smell
    Still roaming the alleyways

    ‘til this day.
