This is a short piece that I feel goes right along with the thread

    "Little Black Girls are Ugly"

Bill cosby host "A Boy Like Me"

I do warn, it is quite disturbing

Now, this video is a bit dated, however I ask that we all take time to look deep, and mindfully at how our young view themselves among their peers.

has how they view themselves changed for the better?

pick their minds, even consider having them draw for you, since studies*I'm still pondering* suggest these can expose telling signs, and feelings.

I can see where it could help,..if even to open up and ask why they chose such small this or large that, why are they separated from him or her etc...

I know for me growing up, I would not open up to discuss how I felt from embarrassment, rejection, all pointing to fear..

    those who hurt,

    hurt...

No doubt, fam. Elder Cosby goes HARD on this. Made the whole of United Snakkkes take a hard look at this is ish and accept that s.c. black folk are NORMAL.

Also, see the clip that was inspired from Cosby's clip, called "A Girl Like Me".

I think most of them pictures, little kids DIDN'T EVEN DRAW. An adult drew them to make a point for this particulary piece.

    how do you "hurt"?.

Neither do black people what with all the wigs/weaves, negative comments about "nappy" hair and dark skin. Forget what others say, we say enough negative things about ourselves
