Hold me
Touch me
Grab me
Feel it
You think I'm talking about some one
I'm talking bout a basketball
Let me hold you close to me
Touch the tip of my fingers
Let me grab you in my hands
As I shoot all I want you to feel is the bottom of the net
If I don't make this shot my dreams my life will feel over
I put my life into this ball without my life will be destroyed
To step on a court with nine other people I've never met before and instantly gain respect for them on this court their are no one individual working for them selves just ten people working to put the ball in the basket
In an instant gain trust for someone I don't know to throw the ball up to an height I don't know if he can reach yet the trust I have in my team mate lets me throw that ball to him
Its so funny how so many races can come together and play as one to get a simple basket yet if it wasn't for this little ball we would never know one another now I've made a bond with nine other people.
