Smiles linger on faces, from tender touches,
caresses, and embraces placed upon skin
Names are etched in gold upon tongues,
upon thoughts... from cherished memories kept within
now that is poetry....

indelibly etched across lasting spaces...as the faces of each season run its course...its touch...its moment in time. like fine wine, we mature in the lasting impressions each trace adds to our face.

Then I accomplished much with my words Rich, thank you Brother.
So'ja, I believe, yes, we do wear that imprint of reality, although not as vividly as the picture presented, of course. If our faces did wear those imprints just as boldly, oh the stories they'd tell. Thank you poet.
Happy you particualrly enjoyed that verse Khasm, and for appreciating the added pic as well. Thank you poet.
Lines of wisdom...what a thoughtful way to describe this piece, and perhaps...the perfect title. Would you mind if I use "Lines of Wisdom" as the title, Brother baller? Thanks a million.
Intriguing? So glad you think so Sis Purple, there's just something about that face that made me want to write about it. Wonderful to see you in the poetry forum. Thank you much, you humble me.
if "Lines of Wisdom" pleases you...
