... In studies, those with the most trans fat in their blood have significantly worse cognitive performance—and physically smaller brains!—than those with less trans fats. And a new study says trans fats may impair memory, too ...

    Dumbest Food #1

    Microwave Popcorn
Many major brands line their bags with perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), the same stuff found in teflon pots and pans; some studies have linked it to infertility, weight gain, and impaired learning. Speaking of learning trouble, butter-flavored popcorns are almost always laced with diacetyl (DA), a chemical that has been found to break down the layer of cells that protects our brain. And some brands, like Pop Secret, still have trans fats—up to 5 grams! Now that’s some scary stuff!

 I hear ya bro. $$RICH$$ on the popcorn. Its better when you pop your own in a pot like I do.

Yep, soda-pops are killing us and all refined foods. On the muffins, Ima have to shift to more oatmeal like the article suggests, cause like you, I been liking my brain muffins, lol; especially wit my :coffee:.

Genetically modified foods (or GM foods) are foods produced from organisms that have had specific changes introduced into their DNA using the methods of genetic engineering. These techniques allow for the introduction of new traits as well as greater control over traits than previous methods such as selective breeding and mutation breeding.[1]
