:welldone: Perseverance is a virtue. Sometimes we need "alone time" so our inner leaves don't whither. Change is good, but "staying power" rules:spinstar:

    I, said the leaf...
it's no mircle that I held on so long,
My Mother "Ms. Roots"...was planted strong.

See, the rest of those leafs, were here for a season,
but I never let go ...for a very good reason
where else could I get water, sunshine and rain?
and none of the fallen leaves can nourish my pain.

I just love the awesome way you dropped this piece...
    Brilliant work of art:welldone:

Change is a necessity, true, but it's that which pushes us to keep it moving, that fosters our staying power. Thank you much spicybrown.
And you hold fast to that grip, 4evaluv. Appreciated poetess.

as with all your work, watz...i always find so much resonance between us...great analogy of nature and persistance.
stunning rhyme scheme, great form....you went out on the "formalist" limb on this one...if i can say so....LOL

it just shows your great diversity of talent. another great one.
