Perseverance is a virtue. Sometimes we need "alone time" so our inner leaves don't whither. Change is good, but "staying power" rules
This is really a beautiful write.
As I read this I could really identify
with that leaf. Holdn' on...
I, said the leaf...
it's no mircle that I held on so long,
My Mother "Ms. Roots"...was planted strong.
See, the rest of those leafs, were here for a season,
but I never let go ...for a very good reason
where else could I get water, sunshine and rain?
and none of the fallen leaves can nourish my pain.
I just love the awesome way you dropped this piece...
Brilliant work of art
staying power is inner grown
often displayed and never alone
just the outter half need it's space
but staying together in it's place
staying power...........i love this sis
Change is a necessity, true, but it's that which pushes us to keep it moving, that fosters our staying power. Thank you much spicybrown.
