Amerikkka still benefitting from the fruits of our labor
everyday they come up with different ways to enslave ya
check their behavior
while they tell you to turn the other cheek
they're trying to sneak thru the back door of their neighbor
slide on his slippers
then kick up their feet
they're wicked I tell ya
but never mind that let's pick up the heat
600 hundred years of blood sweat and tears
and **** near nothing to show for it
by now Nat Turner should have a holiday as I hear him yelling off in the distance
"f-ck it, let's just go for it"
cause "I'se don't care if'n massa hear me"
matter of fact, I think that bastard fear me
that's why he got me in these chains
watch what I do next time he's near me
even if it costs my life
I'm gonna send this message clearly
"I'm your brother, don't u recognize me"
I ain't forgot about that passage in the Middle
or the passion in your riddles
or the lessons about my "Roots"
while listening to that black man with the fiddle
all the while contemplating
why did they have to come and bother me
they took away my paradise
I can only imagine how Ruby Davis felt when she lost Ozzie D
come follow me
and if the woods are too dark, then just follow my sound
there's a beautiful conductor leading us toward freedom
and u don't need a ticket to catch this choo choo underground
just one thing, keep quiet
we don't need no "intellectual Babble"
nor "60 lines of thought"
just keep the oath like a mason and be prepared to travel
our first stop is Rosewood
where cracka's is up to no good
so some blacks had to become "the Deacons for defense"
I heard they hold down their whole hood
that makes me feel so good
to know that we're striking back for what they did to emmitt Till
The Judge lied in the courtroom, but So'jouner brought the Truth
to show that even some of our women kill
just look around at all the "eyes"
that spirit's in some of our women still
"soon and very soon, we are going to see the king"
like an old negroe spiritual
I hear the voice of ancestors in the wind
if you focus you can hear them too
back on the plantation
they couldn't let this ***** in the house
so I plotted in the field
on different ways to take that white ***** out
no smile on my face
at times my eyes not even blinking
about to black out
meaning I'm not even thinking
only thought is too take revenge
for them stealing my view of the Sun, Moon and Stars
Gomar, Oz and Dubar
my freedom, culture and way of life
but the one thing still haven't taken is my face off of Mars
these Un-civilized bastards
are the illigitimate children of G-d...................

Brother Poet Info-moetry,

Remarkable. If I could have liked this piece 10 times, I would have. The subject's voice is powerful and distinct. The name dropping coupled with his background stories was more than palpable. Truly enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing.
