This may not have been what ya had in mind!

This may not have been what they were thinking about when they asked us to scribe about November, but a thing that is real
and to those when reveal, I think this is a positive thing. It didn't save my brother's life but maybe it will save someone's!
LOVE AIN'T SUPPOSED TO KILL YA!
    BLESSINGS ON YA HOUSE !

excuse me for stepping on your heart...

    but i beg to differ
    maybe you should remember
    this November
    when life and love
    touch heart and soul
    and everything new
    is interspersed with old
    and memories of joy
    like flowers and songs
    allow for a smile
    and lets you move on

    remember

    this november

    and that november

    with love.

Re: excuse me for stepping on your heart...

Dear Baller, my brotha , homie you missed the point indeed. For the essence of what I said was that I would not despair! I will always remember! I was a witness. Yeah, ya stepped into it , without fully digesting that one. But ,if that is what you perceived that I wanted to forget November, my brother was brutally murdered by his wife 21 years ago, I was a material witness in the Murder trial, I was the last one to touch him in his conscience life. I felt the pain of that for 20 years as
a victim of Post Traumatic Stress.......Until I woke up one day during a prayers serviced and decided to focus on the fact that I was blessed non the less. Not to focus on the fact that he was 26 years old when he died, and his murderer never served a day, and benefited from his death. Not something you get over , over night! But, through faith and prayer. No sweetie, I remember that he was the first manfriend , who let me know my worth! My only brother! And we were back to back in many a battle and both stood tall in the saddle. But , now I focus on his presence now ,not his absence!
    Blessings on Ya House!

    Re: kinda sad

Thanks for feeling me on the real!
Yes, in many sad events, we find strength, but also the more
we know, more we grow, was 22 when this happened, my prooving ground! Made me the woman I am today!
I got scars no doubt........But I made it out alive! Ya vibe, is my
vibe! Only the truly strong survive! That is why I still feel his presence so Strongly! Today is his birthday and I am 'livin it up'
in Chitown, and not feeling in the least bit down!
    BLESSINGS ON YA HOUSE!:toast:

    Mz B........

    Its not a easy thing
    to lose someone we love........
but in time, the memory of
    them eases the pain some.
I too, lost my best friend to murder
and it was by someone we grew up with.
I wrote this poem for her and I would like
to share it with you, perhaps it may
leave a pleasant thought of a memory

    MISS YOU SO

    ITS BEEN A WHILE
    SINCE YOU BEEN GONE
    I THINK OF YOU
    ALMOST EVERYDAY
    WONDERIN WHAT
    IT WOULD BE LIKE
    IF YOU WERE HERE
    I KNOW WE STILL
    WOULD BE BEST FRIENDS
    LAUGHING MOMENTS
    LIKE WE DID THEN
    I STILL REMEMBER
    OUR GIRLFRIEND TALKS
    THE CLOSENESS WE SHARED
    IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERYEAR
    I KNOW YOUR SPIRIT
    WATCHES ME
    SOMETIMES SITS BESIDE ME
    LIKE A COMFORTING PRESENCE
    IF YOU CAN HEAR ME
    I WANT YOU TO KNOW
    AFTER ALL THIS TIME
    I MISS YOU SO

BRIGHT CHILD EPIPHANY THANKS SO MUCH!

I did feel the same way and still miss him too.
But, as you say it gets better with time.
But, I don't think God wants us to forget!
Don't know that one yet............Still working on it.
But as usual I appreciate you immensely!
You are such a Bright spot in my day, always
MSLB:D And I am still smiling and surviving
    BLESSINGS ON YA HOUSE!
