(inspired by these incredible mountains and Cindy) ....

    across the expanse of the
    great Forest range
    that borders
    my mesa

    i can see the mountaintops
    draped with snow...
    evidence of the recent showers
    frozen
    like a sparkling
    blanket
    of white
    as the light goes
    out

    ushering in the night

    the chill wind
    the grey skies
    flecked with
    whisps of drifting clouds
    make me shiver
    with anticipation

    of firewood
    clam chowder
    hot cider

    & the all night
    sprinkling
    of more 'love powder'

    high on the mountains

    evidence of the storm
    ushering in the night....

    beautiful imagery

while I sit in my summer sunshine and try to envision the scenic beauty of your surroundings...

    ahh..the magic of the mountains....

    I see this

in my memory, southbound 15 hwy.... y'all do have the best vantage point up there.

    Painted to perfection, as usual.

    Ms. A, Ms. A, Ms. A...

...if you don't have a way
    with words, I don't know
    who does! You clearly, and
    not suprisingly, have this
    poetry thing down. Whether,
it be directly, or indirectly, I
    can always feel your 'peaces'
    on a personal level...:D
    *Wonderful*

    Sista Gurl...

Your talk smooths the rough edges of mountains

This was most beautiful A...a very gentle and soothing flow

"the last time i saw alice
    she was leaving santa fe
with a bunch of round eyed buddhists
    in a killer chevrolet

    they turned around at texas
they blew them down that cold
    now she's wild with expectation
at the edge of the unknown"
