2018, has been a frustrating painful year for me.

This year from my observation had been a year

Mark with a lot of let downs and disappointments.

I have seen signs of a widening crack in our fragile, delusional

A view that this country is so diverse and united that

All problems are solved, then in two years this president

Has brought out the ugliness in these ignorant people.

In the South it’s common and never changed; We are

Use to people like Trump and these embolden white nutcases.

2019 is around the corner, and what I see is a dangerous, but deadly

Mess on the horizon. I seen our supposed leaders vanish, and many

Of our youth be misguided. Worse they steady screaming unity after

The fact someone lost their life, but hear nothing after or continued

Unity. It really angers me to see other ethnic groups come together

And work together towards a common goal, but my people are out

Having a good time getting high, and viewed in disgust by these same

People who suck the financial marrow out of neighborhoods.

Is this the reason our leaders sacrifice and die for us to give in and

Be docile to the enemy, but confrontational towards each other?

I know talking about it is not going to do not a dang gone thing, and what I’m doing is

Mentoring to our youth, but I see what can be slowly floated in the wind.

Time is not our friend and I can see nothing good happening period for

This country in the next few years.

Blazejay, I understand your frustration. These are, truly, difficult times. However, Bro. James is right, if nothing else, more people are awake, and more are waking up. The real America is naked in front of us and now, more than ever, it's up to us to do all that we can to change ourselves and our country.

It's easy to blame the victim when you live in America. That's how we are taught. The cause of the problem deflects, lies and never takes responsibility for the problem they create or damage that they cause. Black people have been brainwashed for as long as we can remember and we aren't all on the same page in recognizing that. Those that do the buck dance and shuffle and laugh, are oppressed just like we are. Those that think they are enlightened and woke must continue to help those who aren't.

If you're tired, it's okay brother, take a moment to catch your breath, reflect on the work, and when you're ready, stand up, join the army of woke brothers and sisters and keep moving forward. Tomorrow it might be me that needs to take a breather. But don't give up until the war is won.

Peace

All problems are solved...

A chunk of our people saying vote when there's nothing to vote for; they see evidence of the trickery in voting but purposely cover their eyes to the truth and advocate others to engage in the trickery; millionaire political leaders pretending like they understand the sentiments of high gas prices; blacks losing the few jobs that they've had; blacks still dying earlier than other races; blacks still up under the bottom when it comes to economic development and empowerment; black neighborhoods getting no substantial improvement grants; blacks still getting killed en masse by cops with no justice.

And all that under Obama.

I would argue...you have every right to be discouraged. Given the circumstances, it's a legitimate reaction to things one should be discouraged about.

Peace,

U before Universe........

My hope is that what you're mentoring to the youth isn't the doom and gloom posted in this thread.

What are you doing to prepare for the bad that's coming?

If time is not your friend then what friends do you have?

You have much to say about the negative but you don't mention much about any positive. The positive must start with you.

Peace
