Eye always look forward to reading the brilliant thoughts of Dr. Claud. He speaks up and sas what needs to be said in plain english. Eye've always admired his scholarship and respect him as a human being.

Dr. Claud Anderson, author of "Powernomics" spits out the truth faster and straighter than any amphibian can catch food in midair. Though published in 2001 (eg. 13 years ago) --his words will continue to resonate with clarity until we figure it out or die trying.

    Page 6:

"...Blacks are the only group of people forced to practice capitalism without the capital in the richest and most capitalistic nation on earth..."

We collectively owned 0.005 (1/2 of 1%) of this nation's wealth

    In 2014
We collectively own 0.005 (1/2 of 1%) of this nation's wealth

Yet, who is paying attention to what Dr. Anderson is saying?

..simply b/c Eye see the gross disparity. Beyonce and Jay Z were just here (eg. rated #1 and #6, respectively on Forbes Celebrity List). The distribution(s) of the wealth of Beyonce, Lebron, Dr. Dre, Oprah, Jay-Z, Floyd Witherspoon, Rhianna, et al have nothing what-so-ever to do with Black people; just as the $425 billion given under the guise of religious tithes in 2013 have anything what-so-ever to do with Black people. Yet we are predicted to spend One Trillion dollars by years end. Stop! Think! Something is wrong with this little cautionary tale. This means that we (eg. collectively speaking) have no more of a clue about how the economic wheels of power work (eg. controlling the flow of our own money; amassing our own land in the form of communities and businesses; establishing and maintaining wealth within our own families and communities; owning and running our own factories, warehouses and distribution centers; educating our

own from birth thru secondary schooling (eg. academic or trade); feeding our own and housing our own) than we did four centuries ago (eg. Dr. Clark is still correct about this assessment!). What is blocking this creative part of us? Eye know the very art of these social skill is "still" deeply seated in our psyche':

"...It is pretty well settled that the city is the Negro's great contribution to civilization, for it was in Africa where the first cities grew up..." --E Haldeman-Julius (eg. Ethiopian Origin of Civilization by John G. Jackson).

The face of reality is clear ---we are "still" in the same hamster grinding spot (eg. at the bottom rung depending upon work, food, education, and housing from the dominant culture) as we prod toward a $10 minimum wage; whereas before slavery we prodded around without minimum wage and lived a hovel of an existence. Do you get it? Nothing has changed. The same fist (eg. slave owner with a whip) who knocked on President Lincoln's door at the white house is the same fist (eg. owner of mal-distributed wealth) who knocks at President Obama's door. We remain the de-valued award that has no real say in the contest or the rules . We Are The Game...!

    1. It doesn't help that we have no significant "inner" unity based upon how we disrespect and abuse (eg. verbally, physically) one another.
    2. Nor does it help that we face "structurally hidden" racism every single day that we live and breath in AmeriKKKa.
    3. Let's not forget that centipede known as integration that now makes segregation look like a play toy by comparison.
    4. Least we forget those in our group who work day and night to make sure no significant changes or growth (eg. Boule', Black Conservatives, All run-of-the meal Sambos) take place.
    5. Calcified religious sentiments that stagnate --hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annually decade after decade and are the core problem of our collective existence --a paradigm that is way outta control.
One thing is for sure, --it took 400 years for this manure to mold into the chyt shape that it is in and it is gonna take another 400 to undo the same mess. The pendulum swings both ways. Remember? Is there enough time? Four hundred years seems like such a long time...
