This is why I am finding it increasingly difficult to support the
NAACP. In fact, from now on I think that I just might have to not
consider it as an important entity at all. They are supossed to be
for the Advancement of African Americans; yet I am starting to see
that they are not for that at all; they are not for empowering Our
community, they are for subjugating Us.
How, you say?
A few years ago, they did this with a group of Black Bikers in
Florida, estimated at somewhere around almost 100,000 members -
this time it is 200,000 members - where they went in and begged white folks and hispanics to let them come in celebrate, and give them their money.
This year it is South Carolina! I guess I cannot expect too much
from a group of Black Folk who would go into Florida, after 2000 and
after record numbers of African American males being killed by
police, a place where the police have reenacted COINTELPRO like
tactics against stupid and silly Rappers - and give the city
billions and billions of dollars and received nothing in return.
I guess no one ever tells Us that We already have everything that We
need?
With 200,000 members, let's just pretend that someone in that group has the wherewithall to venture that if they take say $100 from each member, just once each year ( hey, I know for some of Us it is hard to have $100 to put down at once - okay then, do $20/month, how
about $10/month); that gives you about $20,000,000 dollars!
Buy a nice piece of land, build a nice hotel there, auction out
space to people who want to do business with you, all those Black
folks who can cook and create all kinds of things! That way, you
can help someone startup a business or get their foot in the door;
and you can make money from the rental space for your organization -
and you know We will come... this can be a family thing - uh, that
place We pretend to want to get back to - family?
Instead We are begging, "Please let me in, please say it is okay for
me to exist, please I'm just a stupid ******, and I nos nuthin!
Takes me money, please!!!"
I digress, read it for yourself:
Black Bikers Set to Converge on Myrtle Beach Despite City's
Inhospitality

For many years, black motorcyclists have converged on Myrtle Beach,
S.C., every Memorial Day weekend, but the reception from local
residents and businesses has often been in contrast with the catchy
slogan appearing on the city's website, "One Destination … Endless
Possibilities."
Next Wednesday, the 25th annual Black Bike Week kicks off, but many
matters are still up in the air -- namely whether or not local
businesses will open their doors as freely as they do when the
predominantly-white Harley Davidson biker fest takes place this
weekend. And the national NAACP office has even joined in to ensure
that black bikers get fair and equal treatment.
