Ok yall, I want to demonstrate what we mean by "suspension of disbelief" as it was defined in post #254 above. Go back to it and read it. After you've read the concept, come back here and play the video below by tonetalks and skip to his ramblings to count number 7:55 for about 6 seconds.
You heard it right? Mr. "we renewed the reparations movement" admits to what you and I (us) have been discussing for years, right? He said what: "
the Democrats have decided to forget us."
Duhhhh….you think?
Why did he finally admit this? He was upset that the corporate Dems said nothing about reparations in Wednesday's night debate. Reparations was mentioned but by the a contender who's unlikely to occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue--- Marianne Williamson, who, incidentally is a "Democrat" lol.
That's not news to you and me, right?
So let's think logical. Let's be reasonable. Knowing this truth, why is he still acting as if though that's going to change.
All them articles he be posting with all them statistics (he and Yvette Carnell) and somehow they still believes these people can be reasoned with and gone cut us out a check.
Why does his brain still reaches for a solution from a group of people who have demonstrated they don't give two wooden nickels about the black collective?
I know, I know, I know it's hard for us to face this truth. You see, if we admit this, then we see that the concept of black lives DON'T matter extends beyond the criminal justice system but also extends to economics:
And we don't wanna admit that because that would mean that things haven't changed and we're engaged in a fantasy.
But if we're perceptive, we see then that black lives matter isn't just about the interaction between cops and black people but 'black lives matter' is also about the relationship between economics and black people, right?
And look how long this ish been going on yall (at least on paper). The article there says how many years? 60 full years. Baby doll, put that in context. We talking about this has been an economic nightmare for us when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was still alive talking about his mountain top.
The article is telling us, "We still got them ngz trapped and they don't even see it."
Antonio Moore and Yvette Carnell are basically saying, as it comes to reparations, "we shall overcome" these people with love and reason and they gone wake up--one day--and cut us out a check, right?
Snap out of it.
They not gone give us no reparations check.
