Any Black person who thinks writing this is an intelligent statement, thinks exactly like White Racists. White Racists love to use terms like Race traitor. He is a traitor to our race for voting for Obama, or traitor to our race for supporting Black people. That is how they think and talk. Are you now going to continue to copy the worst of their people's antics?

I would like to submit that everyone should vote. Yes. However is voting because somebody has an elbow in your ribs freedom? The way a free vote works for the best is by checking out what each party is bringing. A vote by tradition only is uninformed and blind.

This country runs smoothly with every little wheel turning, not for the Communists, not for the Irish, not for Amazon's choice, but because you want to protect the country as a whole. Why? Because there are two parties and we have to decide who is trying to subvert the principle of what is good for the most. I personally don't like men having use of my restroom. I can't decide who is coming in for what reason. What I can tell by body bone structure is who is not female. That is just one example. Who brought that law in? Not the conservatives.

I don't like the idea of what is being pushed forward in the democrat party is getting a gender change for five year old children.

Don't forget who uses the democrat party because they can get more of their agenda into it. Who is pushing mobocracy? More government control with Socialist authoritarian dogma? We now live in perilous times, even across the world. For some reasons after all this time with seeing that Communist and Socialist governments bring hunger, failure, and personal misery, it still continually gets pushed as a blessed path. Don't forget this -- loss of individual freedom. And don't forget that people who tried to say something contrary in that kind of country disappear. Which means loss of voice.

I would submit that his statement is definitely correct but only in regard to those few that knowingly tell our people not to vote in order to dismantle gains that were hard fought to acquire. Some people just dont know better and that should be reflected in his statement.

Voting is a privilege or responsibility not a freedom. If you dont believe it try not registering to vote and see if they let you vote on election day.

I agree that voting by tradition is not always in our best interests. Imagine if all Blacks currently voted republican because they did so for decades after Lincoln? The other options are the dems and then people who dont really have a chance at winning. In this dynamic we have to choose the lesser of two evils. I specifically say we because its either a mindset of we or a mindset of I. To me a mindset of we will have you vote for what is best for our people as a whole. A mindset of I may be the complete opposite and only pertains to what will be beneficial to you personally.

I submit that calling anyone a Traitor to their race shows the person is no different than the Racist Whites who use that term. Spread information that informs and uplifts our people, not fall down the abominable slope of group-think Neo Nazies and Alt-Righters possess. The solution to our problems is definitely not being just as racist and idiotic as our enemies. No, we must be better and more knowledgeable to defeat them. You only have the luxury of their idiocy when you have overwhelming numbers and military might. When you lack those things, you do not want to turn away possible allies acting just as crass as the racist segment of the majority ethnic group.

So if you want to convince our people to ignore the entreatments by those who try to discourage them from voting, show irrefutable logic that supports your side of the argument. Show why it is important to vote, instead of trying to shame them into voting by calling them Race traitors.

You’re emotions seem to be clouding your ability to think logically. The question now before you is simple: Enumerate the benefits of blacks voting which yields tangible benefits for ordinary black people like me and my neighbors? Simply responding saying “vote because…” is not a benefit (no matter how many times you repeat it) but demonstrates you lack a single benefit for black voting which, by default, proves my contention that blacks voting appears to be nonsensical. My passion has me reasoning spot on. When you have not participated, it is easy to overlook things. There is a reason so many of us had to die for and they are trying to suppress this right. Facts you continue to ignore

I’m about to divest you of your only crutch you possess in perpetuating this Santa Claus-related process.

May I draw your attention to Dr. Martin Luther King’s “Give us the Ballot” speech dated May 17, 1957. As he gives a background of why blacks should be able to vote, he goes on to list a number of things why blacks' votes should be meaningful.

Here's some of that list. He says:

1-Give us the ballot and we will no longer have to worry the federal government about our basic rights.

2-Give us the ballot and we will no longer plead to the federal government for passage of an anti-lynching law; we will by the power of our vote write the law on the statute books of the southern states and bring an end to the dastardly acts of the hooded perpetrators of violence.

3-Give us the ballot and we will transform the salient misdeeds of blood-thirsty mobs into calculated good deeds of orderly citizens.

4-Give us the ballot and we will fill our legislative halls with men of good will, and send to the sacred halls of Congressmen who will not sign a Southern Manifesto, because of their devotion to the manifesto of justice.

5-Give us the ballot and we will place judges on the benches of the South who will "do justly and love mercy," and we will place at the head of the southern states governors who have felt not only the tang of the human, but the glow of the divine.

I bet you don’t wanna go over each one in detail and attempt to reconcile the list with black voting and results, do you? Assuming you will avoid doing that, I’m needing you instead to understand what Dr. King is articulating there because we have those who carelessly use ridiculous excuses parallel to your own hiding behind King’s good name to justify the continual utility of failed strategies from the 60s and thereby keep good meaning black voters running in place not going anywhere.

Dr. King is saying give us the vote so that we can vote and when we can vote, we’ll do what? We’ll get something in return. No where do you see him saying in his list to “vote just because.”

Dr. King or no one else during those great times of the 60s ever stated that black people should continue to vote even after decade after decade it has proven to yield ordinary black people zero results.

Black people in denial of their voting impotence have artistically mischaracterized the purpose of the black vote.

In other words, voting is meant to be meaningful and positive, result-driven and not for “optics.”:bs:

“It is unfortunate,” said Dr. Carter G. Woodson back in 1933, “…that such a large number of Negroes do not know any better than to stake their whole fortune on politics. History does not show that any race, especially a minority group, has ever solved an important problem by relying altogether on one thing, certainly not by parking its political strength on one side of the fence because of empty promises.” [The Mis-Education of the Negro, page 94]. I find it amusing you keep quoting great black leaders to keep us from voting. Troll much?
