I will answer the question you asked to the best of my ability as soon as you tell me what you mean when you say "nation". Once I know what you mean when you say "nation" I'll know what you mean when you say "nationality".
I don't know what a "nation" is. It is just a word that has to be tied to something if it references people. Non-white people just latch onto words given them by the smartest and most powerful white people and then we run with the words...usually in a manner where we end up confusing ourselves.
If you can have a "nation" without people then please explain, in detail, what a "nation" is. If a "nation" involves people then a "nation", logically speaking, must make reference to what the people are doing or what the people are not doing.
You have stated that when you say "nation" you mean:
The body of inhabitants of a country united under a single government.
A body of inhabitants? A body of what kind of inhabitants? Are you talking about people? "Yes" or "No"?
