In the Spirit of Sankofa, Peace In

I met a man from Ghana who told me to google it if i didnt believe him he told to research it for myself and true enough you can google search it...its not hard to find and it is true...the catch is... that you have to move to Africa and build a home on the land that they give you for free...Meaning you actually have to have money ready to build a home from the ground up...This is a goal of mines, I want to go back home where the people are proud to be African!

Free Land in Ghana

FREE LAND IN GHANA
Fihankra International is giving away free land. Fihankra International is a historic movement that aims to reconnect the continent of Africa with its Diasporas. Fihankra is committed to learning from the past to construct a strong cultural and economic foundation for the future.
Fihankra is the name of the Adinkra symbol which represents the floor plan of the Akan house. The word fihankra has multiple meanings: "when leaving home no goodbyes were said"; and "a home which is safe.” Fihankra International is a cooperative effort by African chiefs (kings) of Ghana and Africans to encourage the return and resettlement of Africa's scattered peoples.
Symbols of Fihankra include a sacred hand-carved stool and animal skin "which can be compared to the traditional throne of other peoples and nations. These artifacts reaffirm the cultural and spiritual ties between Africans and diasporans.
All descendents of African heritage who were born in another country (as a result of the trans-Atlantic slave trade) are entitled to free land. The giving of this gift of
land is a part of a ritual to atone for the misdeeds of ancestral rulers who
helped to sustain the slave trade initiated by European powers in the 15th
century. To this end, a U.S. born custodian was appointed.

Should Black Americans Move 2 Ghana ?

African-Americans resettling in Ghana

Shukura Sentwali is going home -- to Ghana, West Africa.
Sentwali, a Wichitan (in Kansas) and longtime community activist, said she's moving to Africa next year because two Ghanaian chiefs are offering free land to descendants of slaves.

So she's heading home.

She acquired her land in 2006, after attending a conference in Philadelphia presented by Fihankra International, which is overseeing the development.

An Land for African Americans in Ghana

In 2005 a prominent Akan King in the modern Republic of Ghana set aside about 30,000 acres of prime land for the descendents of the victims in the Trans Atlantic slave trade.Located on the Volta Lake this is really something special for a people long suffering from centuries of humiliation and racism. The township of Ye Fa Ogyamu is where a village was located then abandoned. The first time it was emotional not practical with no real logistical and livable plan.African Americans long want to return to Africa but before that meant returning to pre modern ways of life. Now as Africa becomes more modern and developed the appeal to a broader segment of African diasporans is happening, the result is an exciting time to be Black and from America. All over Africa the demand for African American professionals is growing.

In the Spirit of Sankofa, Peace In my sister friend

Eagerly waiting for the due day when my scattered siblings return home in their millions, united as a front, with a common goal....... To reclaim our stolen glory. To rebuild our once Magnificient Kingdoms, where the young respect the aged and learn their ways.
