i called obama a coward. big mistake.

i been hit with a firestorm of outrage, mostly from females. emotional, ad hominon attack.
it has been explained to me that i am clearly not good enough to talk about this brother. after all he is POTUS and i am not.

do i need to be? is only one president allowed to speak on another?

is it possible to criticize obama or has he been elevated to demi god status?

Isn't calling someone a coward an ad hominem attack?

Attacking a man on his beliefs or policies is one thing.
Calling him a coward because he doesn't do, act, behave, speak as you feel he should is quite another.

Ad hominem

An ad hominem (Latin: "to the man"), short for argumentum ad hominem, is an attempt to link the truth of a claim to a negative characteristic or belief of the person advocating it.[1] The ad hominem is normally described as a logical fallacy,[2][3][4] but it is not always fallacious; in some instances, questions of personal conduct, character, motives, etc., are legitimate and relevant to the issue.[5]

The philosopher Charles Taylor has argued that ad hominem reasoning is essential to understanding certain moral issues, and contrasts this sort of reasoning with the apodictic reasoning of philosophical naturalism.[6]
