Hi Ankhur et al.

Let us never forget our sacrificial mentor Attorney Alton Maddox Jr. In January, he will bring, to Brooklyn, many African forums featuring African presenters such as Dr. Kaba (whom we know as Booker T. Coleman), Dr. Runoko Rashidi, Dr. Arthur Lewis and, in February, Dr. Umar Johnson. As well, there will be a film played in appreciation of Dr. Clarke's upcoming 97th birthday. Dang.

Beside that, there are fundraisers a-going for the Freedom Retreat:

Should I give more details? The enemy visibly lurks.

I defer to my elders.

Hotep!

Brother Maddox is cool but he needs to clarify what his beef was about the Freedom Party and those who worked to create it.

I worked for Sensei Judge Phillps, touching up the murals at the Slave theater, and have seen most of the scholars that people youtube, there,
and spoke to some after their lectures.
The Slave theater on Wednsdays was an important asset to the community and the activities outside infront of it before the lectures, the food vendors the books the book vendors, he debates, the discussions and networking

All that ended when they moved to the rag tag Elk's club near Classon.

I will wait and see, but thanks cause there was no info on this in the Amsterdam news Thursday

Brother Maddox, as I understand it, was incredibly instrumental in the creation of the Freedom Party.

Charles Barron was the candidate for Governor.

Though the Freedom Party was unfairly placed on the ballot, Barron did not hint this to Maddox. Maddox found out too late. It was something to challenge.

When the election came back and claimed that we didn't have enough votes to make a party, Barron told Maddox to not challenge the police. Barron, as the candidate for Governor, was the only one who could and he still did not.

There is no beef. It's just that Barron should challenge the miscounted ballots. For instance, 200,000 ballots are still uncounted from the election.

To wit, the Freedom Party collected 40,000+ signatures, the most of all third parties, but got ~10,000 votes (IIRC), the least of all third parties. Something seems amiss.

lol!
