Black People : NECESSITY OF BLACK INFERIORITY COMPLEX TO RACISM

I'm not relating at all to being or feeling inferior to another race. Wouldn't having an inferiority complex to whites be the same as self hate.

Inferior: lower in place or position; closer to the bottom

Self Hate: When someone hates themself or a group of people to which they belong.

A person can have an inferiority complex because they have not been taught their value. I don't relate feeling inferior as a race related trait. Young girls can feel inferior because her hair is shorter and more kinky than her friends, if she has not been told/taught she is beautiful. Young boys can feel inferior because they are shorter and not as muscular as other boys their age.

Maybe I'll listen to the entire video tomorrow.

I had to stop listen to him speak. He sounds like he suffers from an extream inferiority complex. I disagree with most of his dialogue. He goes so far as to say the inferiority starts in the womb. That's a lie.
My mother had nine kids that she taught were the most handsome, beautiful, smartest than all others. We were never treated inferior. I have never felt inferior. I taught my son the same. He does not suffer from an inferiority complex.
This speaker, Dr. Amos, sounds like he suffers from a serious case of self hate and an inferiority complex in his brain, to say it starts in the womb.
Some Black folk just don't need a platform to spread their stinking thinking.
I appears, upon reading the above, that you are not abreast of the context with which dr. wilson is saying what he said.
Arguably, the most flawed approach to examining and issue that impacts a collective is using ones personal experience like
a rubric as a means to measure and or dismiss wholesale a problem/phenomena that impacts a group.

And the part where he mentions the "womb", I think you missed the mark, or you are simply
cherry-picking, for you seem to have neglected or paid no attention to what he said, leading
up to such claim (context) in order to understand where he is/were going with it.

So now we gone give white folk credit and the power to create an inferity complex.
How do you explain how 10% of the worlds population controling over 90% of the the worlds wealth and
by far and away dictate geo-political and economic operations?

I believe inferiority complex is a weakness. A weakness that just should be addressed by those who love you, such as a parent.
This is a very simplistic look at the complexities of life itself with regard to black folk.
When if the parent(s) suffer from said inferiority complex, then what? Wilson, inquired
about the reasoning behind why folks have kids in the first place and how that 'reason'
will influence their development.

I'm not offended personally. I'm just tired of talking heads saying blacks suffer from self hate, and now MY PEOPLE suffer from an inferioty complex. I disagree. He didn't step On my toes. HE STEPPED ON THE TOES OF MY PROPLE. I'm tired of all these studies to discover another negative about Blacks.
I'm not mad, I'm just tired, of being sick and tired.
Again the above reads like you really do not understand what he is talking about. Mainly
because you fail to get the context with which he is making his claims.

True.
Example: by the commonly accepted standards of beauty and or attractiveness my brother is my superior and I his inferior.....that does not mean I hate myself

Maybe I'll listen to the entire video tomorrow.

Good idea

I listened to the entire video. I'm pleased to report I was raised in an Afrocentric family, view life from an Afrocentic POV, only keep company with people an Afrocentri mindset. That's all I know.
When I come in contact with unconscious Blacks, that have no interest in Black History, who are wrapped up in white culture, and do exhibit an inferiority complex compared to whites, I try to reason with them. I'm being very serious here.
It's obvious when you're talking to a Black person about Black history or even the Black community, and they give you this blank stare, like a deer caught in the headlights. Clueless. This type may suffer from the dreaded inferiority complex. It's very sad. Even as I type this I'm thinking of persons who live their lives in accordance to white social standards. Who do suffer from an inferiority complex and self hate. They just don't know.

I think he's saying that it's important for white rule to keep people of color feeling inferior, in order to maintain a position of superiority.
