Love to my beautiful people...

by this time, i'm sure you all have heard about what's going on in Ferguson. but more than likely, what you all have probably not heard is most of the truth.

i will bring more of that truth to you.

i was born and raised in St. Louis. i'm still here today. let me share a bit about what it means when people say "St. Louis." There are many areas in St. Louis but technically, they are not in St. Louis. Take Nelly for example. He was born in University City (a suburb) but he claims St. Louis. University City is a few minutes away from St. Louis, but it's not technically St. Louis. St. Louis "proper" is really St. Louis City; that's where I was born and grew up. Ferguson is like a 25 minute walk from my neighborhood and maybe about a 3.5 minute drive.

within 24 hours of the cold-blooded murder of our dear Brotha, I was at ground zero. since then, myself and my group, have been attending mostly everyday since.

i will be providing you guys with video and stills and the information that I gather and you may request anything from me about this volatile situation. i wanna offer you an inside look.

for now, let me say this much. what you are not seeing is the unbelievable unity that this unfortunate situation has created. at first we were just about 50 or so people gathering around one store. but since the Democrat Governor Jay Nixon called in the Missouri National Guard, we are now at the thousands--and growing-- stretching blocks.

All groups are here. You got the Sistahs and Brothas with the ankhs, the Christians, the Hebrew Israelites representing. The 5 percenters holding it down. The NOI and The Panthers are here with Brotha Malik Zulu Shabazz. Hell, groups I never even heard of before.

There was also JCole and Jeezy. But it's not about name dropping. Remember what I said earlier, what you're not being shown is the power of unification. Sisters walking around providing free food and drinks to everyone. Brothas directing traffic--not needing the police. What's not being conveyed is the "something in the air" which is saying a line in the sand has been drawn. Trust and believe when I say this is not just "another police shooting."

Yesterday there was a rally at this church about 3 minutes from ground zero. It was standing room only. People parked from blocks and blocks just to be close to the church. People were stopped on the highway climbing over the fence trying to get inside the rally.

And that was just ONE of the many that was going on.

This is why they imposed the curfew on us. It was not due to any violence against police officers or citizens. They keep saying people getting shot, but not mentioning no names lol. We all be like where did that happen...I was right there and I didn't see that...did you?" lol...So what's going on? the authorities have activated mission hollywood. Come here and you will see, it's about not letting a cold blooded murderer escape justice.

Man, it's so much to tell. Every now and then imma pop in and drop something.

From the way it looks, everyone here is fully engaged in this debacle, myself in particular. I've found that what you have submitted so far, concurs with the perception gathered from watching this unfold with a vigilant eye.

To date, Malik Shabazz, former NBP chairman, has acted with the most control out of all other leaders. His calling for a five(5) day moratorium on Protests, is the recent most common sense approach. Also, Gov. Nixon calling off the curfew tonight, makes one wonder if President Obama or Attorney Gen. Holder had anything to go with that sudden change. We know Nixon solicited the National Guard without notifying the White House.

But my question to you is this Perfection; is there anything we can do here at Destee.com, providing of course that Sister Destee approves, to have inclusionary input besides holding discussion and dialog on Ferguson?

Evening Brotha King Clyde...if there was something I would ask that we do, which I'm sure Queen Destee will concur, is to try and focus more on her theme here at this site. We need to send those love and encouraging vibrations out to one another---and remain focused.
