I’ve studied the black conscious community for almost a year.
To a man which almost all of them are they are very outspoken against homosexuality. According to all of them there is a homosexual agenda that targets black males in the bullseye with the rest of the world in the outer circles. On an extremely base and general sense I agree with them. I don’t come close to sharing their conviction and certainty on the subject.
From my perspective the perverse agenda is one of narrow-minded feminization. I say that for lack of a better term. I don’t see how anyone with honest knowledge of history can say that the world didn’t need to include its more feminine spirit in cultures so the devil is in the details. We have given women more power without the grace of their actual femininity. As a general example we have become more sensitive without becoming more motherly or without an increase in breast feeding. I could go on with examples of how we have adopted faux femininity which makes us more sensitive more paranoid while being more open about homosexuality and far less logical.
From this new faux feminist state the “homosexual agenda” is for now a major preoccupation. We have reached a model in the black family where men have less influence than they had before thus kids who would have stayed in the closet in fear or dishonoring their father are more open about their sexuality. In response men blame the fear of having gay sons and promiscuous daughters on society. This is where I really step back and look at the big picture. I have always viewed homosexuality as a choice that is heavily influenced by internal biology. So while like most men, I would not favor having a gay son I don’t think I have anything close to absolute control over it. Society surely had no control over my sexuality. I cant remember a time in which I wasn’t attracted to women. My attraction to women was irrepressible to excess.
I always assumed that any man who didn’t have this same attraction was dealt a different deck of cards. Because of this I have always questioned homosexuality from a point of reason. I find the preoccupation or homophobia whatever you want to call it to be deficient of the same reason.
That lack of reason goes unquestioned in what seems like a fear of being labeled as gay. Animals are used as an example of how heterosexuality is unnatural without mention of homosexuality in the animal kingdom. That is a lie of omission or ignorance in attempt to fan a flame.
The American government toyed with the idea of a “gay” bomb but I have never heard anyone tackle this “gay agenda” from a point of perceived or theoretical biological war. Its always culture, laws, television which is unquestionably part of a push for equal rights and tolerance. I’ll be **** if I give the white man enough credit to even suggest that some “gay agenda” is capable of altering my sexuality and it if it’s not capable of altering my sexuality then why should I assume that my people are the weak ones who will be affected by this gay agenda even if we are target?
If you cant defeat this agenda by simply being yourself is this not simple insecurity? Is this not anxiety from the bi-curious? Isnt this the anxiety felt by marginalized fathers?
Ive seen debates by intelligent scholarly individuals fall to calling Jesus gay for no sensible reason. In these same debates Kemet is called a gay society because of a handful of documents in a nation that was literate for four thousand years. If a man critiques black women too much he is liable to be called gay. I've heard one brother advocate the killing of homosexuals like today in this world. Gay rights activist or random homosuspects have been killed and assaulted in Africa. I heard of one lesbian who stated that she stopped dating men because they wanted sex without bringing any money to the relationship and instead of humping shoulders and disregarding her as whore of some sort men get angry. They act like this is a slippery slope to damnation.
This gay agenda is from my POV a distraction fifty times before it’s a real issue once. It’s corrupted the minds of those who ought to have the intellectual muscle to reason with the fool that would assault a lesbian who isn’t worth a **** to a man anyway or the indebted country that doesn’t have the money to imprison or judge people accused of homosexuality.
