I can list various reasons to why war is evil, concluding that war is necessary sometimes overrides the point of why war is evil and serves to only downplay the wise warning. After considerable study of West Africa history and I've discovered the primary cause of Slavery was war between kingdoms in West Africa. Prime example the Yoruba, an highly advanced culture and civilization that produced empires, king lead by higher kings and kings lead by councils, along with social-political and religious hierarchies that proceeded all known civilizations of Earth, Ile Ife goes back 10,000 before Christ. But this great original civilization became consumed with a civil war that weakened it so much Europeans easily moved in and conquered them. This was the primary cause of slavery, nothing more and nothing less, prisoners of war were captured and sold to European traders into slavery. This is why I am dismayed at African Americans support for President Obama, who is celebrated as the first Black President but nonetheless continues down the path of war along with his predecessors of U.S Presidents who spent every year 75% of the U.S budget since start of WWII on war machines produced by the Military Industrial Complex. We fail to see that war is never a necessary evil unless one is in direct defense of one's life or sovereignty, the U.S promotes a preemptive war policy that is contradict to the principle of war when necessary.
Many Muslims, Christians, Jews and Hebrews are staunch believers in a warring messiah who is to return to earth or come to make war. I strongly disagree with such beliefs, as a believer in Ifa and traditional African beliefs I contend that war exists outside of universal balance and serves more the savage than the civilized man. Reason for such strong beliefs is that I can't find anywhere in history any advanced civilization that was founded upon war. So I insist that if any messiah or universal change comes upon the Earth it will come from constructiveness of peace and not the destructiveness of war. The is no such thing as a holy war for God doesn't need man to fight His battles, God has the wind, ice, snow, hurricanes and all the destructive forces of nature to fight His battles and destroy the wicked.
The people who will survive to see the coming age of enlightenment are those souls who develope within themselves character as Ifa teaches. Rulers must spare the people death by not fowarding war but education and trade, cultivation of their minds instead destruction of their bodies. Those who make spiritual, physical or economic war will be destroyed from this earth in the coming decades. And those who make peace by building civilization and promoting all humanity will be the winners of a very dark time.
I suggest putting together public trust funds within the African-American communities, if there is to come any reparations or repair of the damages incurred to our psyches it will come from out of our own pockets, like what Elijah Muhammad brought and Marcus Garvey. The only answer to evil is to promote good, trade schools must be established to teach our young people skills, investing in the vast resources of Africa to bring economic relief worldwide to Africa diaspora and Africa. We must remember that how we got into this mess by war and we must not sleep the vast opportunities that exist on the continent, a great wealth that can bring great change.
Thanks.
