Black Short Stories : homelessness

Kids being homeless is, true enough, something I know very little about. In south Florida, I guess I never 'lived' were homeless kids hung out ... with a couple of exceptions. I did occasionally see kids with women I assumed were their mothers eating at soup kitchens. Ditto for a group of teens who always hung out together and never with any adults.

istlota ... do you realize this thread is in the Black Short Stories Forum? It's a story Brother Baller wrote and shared with us.

I kinda got a feeling you may not be aware of that.

Love You!

Duly noted.

Brother Istlota ... i didn't mean to be ugly, i just didn't think you knew you were holding a discussion in a short story thread ... :)

It's a great discussion and i'd like to take part in it with you, as i have my own homeless experiences to share.

I won't push though ... just know ... if you start a thread on this topic in the Open Forum, i'll be right there too!

Love You!

istlota...i thank you for your input. every fictional story has a degree of truth to it...that makes the whole thing plausible. i need to understand the full story of the homeless...in order to do them justice in writing this story...so, i thank you.

Destee...as always, i thank you for your clarity. we assume at times that everyone is on the same page when...some times, that's not the case. thanks for clearing that up.
