Just curious what percentage of the posters on destee are not from the USA. Seems like when what you would call a foreigner comes on they eventually get enough hassling that they either quite posting, for leave all together. Just a question.

I was thinking about this myself.
It would be nice to read more outside perspectives.

I think many leave because they get put down for their views.
I use to get put off by, how people responded so negatively towards my comments.
I've had to adjust how I wrote back to people here, in order to not get them work up too much.
I think AA forget that the rest of the black world does not see things the way they do, at lease that's one of the conflicts I see.

Brother Bientempo ... i don't know the percentages, but we have quite a few Members that are not from the USA, residing in other parts of the world. In fact, i'd guess that we have a higher percentage of Premium Members that are outside of the USA, than are in the USA ... though i'm no mathematician, can't prove it on the spot, but i think it. I'm estimating, given the total number of Members, total number of Premiums ... and yeah ... i think those outside the USA that are Premium, would have higher percentages.

I said that to say, i'm honored to have so many Sisters and Brothers from around the world here.

The rules are the same for them, as they are for everyone ... all must be respected and respectful.

If you have a specific instance of a Member being disrespected, please show it to us.

Oftentimes, folk (in or out of the USA) can't handle their opinions being challenged, and cry foul.

What one considers disrespect, another will not ... but we're pretty consistent and fair in making such determinations ... so if there is a specific instance you're referencing ... please show us all ... so we can more clearly see what you're speaking about.
