Black Spirituality Religion : Jesus Is Universal

That's not at all what 'jesus is universal' means!

Do you have a picture of this jesus you can show us since you know so much about him?

Do you even know his proper name, since the letter J wasn't entered into the english language until about 1526 A.D.?

- Do you ever plan on attempting to make any sense? And please don't hit me with the usual 'it only will make sense if you are of the true faith, or holy spirit' nonsense....

Just to be fair, is there a christian here who can try to make sense out of the above quote?

I know of several names. The real name depends partly upon the time and place that is refered to. Im in the U.S. and this is 2011. Its my preference to use Jesus. You can use the name that you choose. Im sure it will all be a learning experience for us.

You know of several names? Well, do you care to share those NAMES because thus far all you have done is offer up TITLES (JESUS) (CHRIST). Neither of which as you should know ARE NOT NAMES.
Ok, but the only problem with this suggestion is that if we all use names that we are comfortable with, we may actually find out that we aren't talking about the same person. Which in essence is why christians are so lost when it comes to talking about 'JESUS', they don't have a clue as to whom they are referring too. Once a little pressure is applied, as you suggest above, they start changing his name to god, christ, lord and other names. Some will even bow out of the question all together with the usual 'you must get to know him for yourself'....

So in essence, you (christians) don't KNOW 'JESUS', the best they can do is parrot what some preacher told them to believe orelse! Using the names we choose to use in this regard is exactly why christians are so confused and easily manipulated....

Therefore, how could you say 'jesus is universal' when you are incorrect to think JESUS is a name? How can you say 'no excuse not to thank 'JESUS' when you think that was his name, nor can you provide a picture of the one you say there is no excuse not to thank?

I couldnt agree more. We indeed might figure out we are talking about the same person. And would anything be wrong with that. Im mostly talking about Jesus the spirit. Its been a long time since Ive refered to a man named Yashuwa, Kristos, or Zeus. There would be no point in going through all of those names or titles for me. Ive allready learned all of that I needed to know. Its old news to me. Sooner or later its time to move to something else. Learn your history to find your path and not to be smarter than as many people as you can.

But I said: if we all use names that we are comfortable with, we may actually find out that we aren't talking about the same person

This below is a nice attempt to wiggle out.....gotta give you credit for that. I ask you for a picture or his correct name and you switch to talking about a spirit. NICE MOVE!

Im mostly talking about Jesus the spirit.
- See how you just changed what/who you say you are talking about when a little pressure was applied! You say you're MOSTLY talking about the spirit of jesus. SO when you're not talking about 'jesus the spirit' (i have no clue what that is as i didn't know spirits had names) who are you referring too. 'Mostly', means that sometimes you are referring to something else, correct?

Sooner or later its time to move to something else. Learn your history to find your path and not to be smarter than as many people as you can
- Problem with this is that you again said:

I used to bash some Christian belief and still would if the right time came. Alot of the Christian beliefs that I felt I needed to bash I did.
- in another thread! So who is claiming to be smarter than who? I never said anything like that, all i am looking for are facts from you to back any of your ridiculous statements! You seem to have a very short memory of what you post from thread to thread!

Jesus is universal means that people who have him are not just depicted in movies, going to church, or in Christian countries. It also means that he has different names and has been of different races. It means he is older than the bible. If not then I say to Christians before the bible it must have been more hellish people than now which is not true.

I don't know about this one. When you use the name Jesus, you have to remember that there is a lot more to that name than traditional religion has given to us. There are laws and commandments and respect that is to be given to this name, and others may do the best with what they know, but it does not negate the fact that they do not recognize or respect Jesus. I also believe that Jesus is older than the Bible, but that doesn't take away from it's authority due to the fact that it is the word given by God to man. On a side note, we have the Bible now, but I don't think people can be anymore "hellish" than we are now. Just my thoughts......
