Her performance was great raspy voice n all...the gutiar the lyrics were great...loved it

But when i think of her i can only but think of her tragic fall as her moment in the spotlight was so brief

I don't know.. her Art is alive and well.. it is still touching people almost 10 years after
the performance. The thing you have to understand is that Lauryn isn't an
entertainer, she is an Artist.. and an Artist's light emanates from within, not without.
That spotlight you're talking about is from an external source that
really has nothing to do with Art.. and everything to do with business and
money.. Lauryn is as popular as she ever was. Folks all over the world still
listen to her music.. still emulate her stylings.. still think about her lyrics..
still discuss her impact.. Her Art still inspires scores of people.. nothing tragic
about that. I do wish she would come out on a more regular basis with some
new material.. I'd love to hear whats on her mind right now.​
