most religions advocate love, peace and tolerance.

why is there so much hate?

if a large number of the practitioners of any belief exhibit negative behavior even when that behavior is proscribed by that religion is the religion itself to blame?
how can there be war between one religion who advocates peace and another religion that advocates peace? should be impossible.

at what point is the spiritual system to be held accountable for the actions of it's practitioners?

why is there so much hate?

Most spiritual systems or religions are based in half-truth; they either provide only a small portion of the full range of information needed to TRULY liberate their practitioners or are set up to blatantly deceive and oppress them. The proof (truth) is in the pudding; where there is injustice, there is no love and peace. Honestly, unless those religions set themselves up and in and of themselves force practitioners into them, how can they be to blame? You have to look at the forces behind them and those who tolerate them. It's the "player" all the way.

Given you did mention the word "practitioners" herein is the key to the question.

Oftentimes, "practitioners" do not practice what they preach and to a large extent do not even preach what they claim to "believe".

peace

No peaceful spiritual path should ever be held accountable for the evil and wrongs that humans do..

...
we have good and evil, right and wrong in us. god and devil.

a mans bad behavior comes from the devil.

we know the difference between right and wrong. when we hold this god knowledge and we CHOSE to do wrong, that is the devil acting.

a man accepts responsibility and does the right thing.

a boy says "the devil made me do it".

no responsibility?

No peaceful spiritual path should ever be held accountable for the evil and wrongs that humans do..

are you sure that you want to give the systems a pass?
shouldn't the belief system have taught it's people better?

there are far too many people who are in one system or another running around doing dirt.
so much dirt that i need not even single out any one system.

it seems that the religions can have it both ways.
