Peace to all the Afreekans well versed in Science/Technology or Geekthology.

Geekthology is study of and knowing all things Science and Tech oriented :)

I've begun using VideoPad Video Editor software. One problem I've encountered is that it saves all files with a vpj file extension.

It is not a "movie" or "sound" file and therefore can not be accessed to share in the places I need to share them.
I don't see any info on the NCH site for all to convert files in file extensions that work like wmv, or mpeg or something like that.

I have been directed to NCH site for purchasing software to convert yet still see nothing with the vpj extension.

Are there other ways to convert? Is there a need to convert:?: I have not attempted upload to youtube yet and have tried using them in powerpoints I am working on. They don't show up as sound or movie files.

gonna hafta go find out what this "vpj" extension is.

but, very quickly; does not the program offer a "save as" option? or can one not go into "preferences"/"options" and set the default format for saving stuff?

and being "directed to sites to purchase" in response to a need for help to use a piece of software is a strong indication to me that one has the wrong piece of software in the first place: [rhetorically]why doesn't the software have that ability within itself? [again, rhetorically]who is this particular piece of software shilling for?

aside from a bunch of "suggestions" to "use our on-line scanner to fix registry issues" (say what?? smh "profiting off of the misery of others"), on the second page of a google search on "vpj file extension" this was the closest thing to a useful "answer".

now i'll go highlight the program name, right click and "search the web for" and see if there is anything useful on the application's website. [what/who is NCH and who directed you there?]

checking out the program page, it appears that there is a "free version" and a "pro version" which offers "more export formats". are you, then, using the free version?

also, i see that nch is the outfit that produces this package, as well as a lot of other stuff.
