And all the filthy leachers

Slowly smothering the “open and free” love
We all want to be of
Generation after generation
Another nation of corrupted souls
Whose stories have yet to be told
And all the old heads trying to place fear in their mind
BE SILENT FOR A TIME…Is what they tell them
As guilt and shame assail them
After surreptitious touches, and
“We can never tell,” hushes, and
Conspiratorial glances
That trances the young into submission
But listen
For those frolicking fathers
And matronly mothers
And sleep-walking brothers
And over-exposed sisters
And all the whispers that shouldn’t be whispered…
