Black People : Black People are Destroying Each Other

I accept the fact most (if not all) of the people striving and trying to make a difference here approach things via a faith based viewpoints:

Otherwise nobody or nothing I've heard or read implies or suggests anybody is approaching things as though anybody else's religious beliefs etc. less than thou or their own holier than thou here either!

So if there are individuals who clash over such things?

Better for them to not bring up such stuff on these threads etc., and/or to settle things elsewhere without daring to ask the rest of us to pick sides...

Above and beyond that:

Only if and when somebody reflects on either present approach being presented here via a credible plan of action aka an agenda will we ever represent a mere handful of concerned individuals as regards our present day plight as a people...

Peace and Blessings Family,

We talk about what white folk do to us, as if we're oblivious to what we do to each other. It amazes me. We are so quick to think the worst of our own people, attack them, accuse them, attempt to destroy them and their efforts, as if they are in fact, the real enemy.

We've been so conditioned to do this to each other, that it's really becoming scary to me. This community's sole purpose, is to provide a place where we can respect each other, come together peacefully, and all throughout the years, i've been fought by Black People in this effort.

It's not been white people, to my knowledge, coming here and attacking us. We attack each other. We don't even need them to come in and attack, for left to our own devices, there will not be one left standing. Not one worthy of consideration, or respect. We will dig down, drill, hunt, and scour the earth, internet, whatever is at our disposal, to prove another Sister or Brother is low down, no good, and dirty. We'll even use the information and articles posted about us, by the enemy, to persuade each other, that another is not worthy of their love, attention, support, etc.

We will do all of this to each other, knowing full well, that every other Sister and Brother on the earth, is experiencing the mistreatment of white people ... be it direct or indirect ... not one of us goes unscathed. There may be some of us that have become happy in their lot, willing to take whatever condition their life is in, without regard to the rest of us ... but it doesn't change the fact that around the world, Black People are mistreated by white people.

We are in bad shape Family, as a people.

We don't even stand a chance, against our common enemy, for we have rendered each other useless, before ever getting to the front line of the real battle ground. Upon approaching it, the real battleground, all we will have to fight with, are wounded Sisters and Brothers. Stabbed, shanked, and choked out, by their very own people.

And it seems as though ... we can't even see that.

We can't see what we're doing to each other. The examples we're giving our children.

I propose, that if we could simply stop attacking each other, stop killing each other, stop thinking the worst of each other, stop calling each other out of our names, stop looking for ways to be superior to each other, better than each other, greater than each other ... if we could stop that ... and learn to respect each other, think the best of each other, encourage each other, forgive each other ... our real enemy is in trouble.

But gosh ... i don't know if we can pull it off.

We seem so hellbent on destroying each other.

It's frightening.

Hello,

I loved reading this and I would like to share.

When you said, "We are in bad shape Family, as a people. We don't even stand a chance, against our common enemy, . . . And it seems as though ... we can't even see that."

I too feel so desperate about this topic and I strive so hard to win for my people and for my self against so much racial hatred in this world. And, so many times, I find myself in conflicts with others of my own heritage when it comes to 'winning'. I've come to realize though, that conflict is going to happen and so, I try to find ways to debate while always seeking and hoping to find --'some kind of common ground to agree upon even when in a debate or disagreement'.

I believe that if I could possibly find someway to agree with any point with a person who, like me, ultimately wants to win, then maybe we can build and keep building upon that point.

I've read the earlier post and really loved AU2's thread about 'self hate' and I have so much I would like to add to this viewpoint because I don't believe that we, as a people really realize how past experiences in America have such a heavy bearing on this issure. I really believe that even before we are born, self-hate, is a mode that was put in our ancestors of whom transferred this to us at unawares.

I believe that when we argue in certain ways, WE ARE DESTROYING OURSELVES as you have explained. Personally though, I believe that there is a higher power in our favor and HE has already won on this count!

There is a final judgement for our oppressors. There is a judgement against opportunity--the kind of white people who benefit from black oppression and black-on-black hatred. I believe that as Black people, we are going to have to 'debate' until we can get to the truth but, there is a higher power that already won for us.

I'm new to this forum and I'm still trying to read and get acquainted with the community and hope to add my viewpoints but with respect.

peace.

About the Bible...

Read more here

As a community do we not, as individuals, hold some responsibility for the community's well being? Do each of us have roles to play in our collective development?

Should we be so complacent that we allow known infections to pass through the very veins of our community untreated - because even disease should be tolerated as long as the body doesn't complain?

I hear so often how Black ppl are destroying their own by lack of love and understanding, by killing, by cheating, by robbing, by general hating on each other.. by the sexes, by beliefs, by politics, by culture - and how we have to stop. I could not agree more. What I do not understand is how a "conscious" person cannot see some very basic, fundamental, diseases amongst us as a Black society and even worse, how Black society will defend such diseases with fevor! Kicking knowledge to the curb! insanity!

I think the vast majority agree our cultures, beliefs, languages, bodies and minds - have been stolen and warped by our oppressors. yet we continue to indulge ourselves by worshiping white gods, policing our own ppl under guidelines set by our oppressors, teaching our children how to "get along" instead of how to "live". Most are all half assed attempts to gain "equality".. I just don't get it... "compared to whom?" our oppressors never need worry about Black society as we are too busy trying to prove ourselves equal, instead of truly understanding ourselves.

For those who claim to love Black ppl there is only one recourse - and that is a full on assault towards regaining our true natures...

How can we support Black Bible thumpers when we know a group of white old men put that book together for the main reason of controlling the populace. (go ahead and thump your chests in denial - I'm not saying the bible is completely untrue, only that it has been modified and is not complete.. )...

the revolution till not be televised: it's happening on home ground. now.

I guess that would be me: "a Black Bible thumper"!?

I love your thread and agree with most of it. I just want to challenge your viewpoint on 'the Bible' when you referred to "a group of white old men put that book together for the main reason of controlling the populace."

I'm aware that the Bible is a compilation of many books written by many different authors and then translated into languages understood today. But I want to share my research:

Are you aware that most of the contents of the Bible refers to 'Black authors, black people and the Creators determination for deliverance of Black people from white oppression?

When King James headed up the committee to translate the Bible into 'the Kings English' or, the Middle English language of that time period in the A.D. 1500s and 1600s, King James was persecuted for doing this as well. He supported a counsel of ethnic men [scholars] of whom did the translation. King James was also very diligent in getting this done and it is really, many white people [Anti-Christ] who speak against him because he was successful.

The Bible speaks against evil and good about all people and that includes white supremacy. Are you aware of this?
