It was a truly humbling moment in reading this thread. There were many great revelations via the scriptures that reminds me of my role in raising a son, as well as his father. If there were more godly men, not just by label, but true godly men..what a difference we would see in our families..communities as a whole. Thank you cherryblossom for sharing God's wisdom..I pray is edifies someone to complete understanding and action.

I am a man, even with all my imperfections. There are many types of men, as well as women. They come in so many different flavors.

What is a real man?

I guess it depends on who your talking to. I would start with are they a man of their word. Oh, there is no perfection on this planet, unless you are talking about a woman's body.(my bias)

My two cents worth...men were created in the image of their creator and of course everyone has different beliefs as to who that is...in keeping with the theme of this thread..if your belief is that God is your maker, than a real man would be one who is an example of his father. Otherwise, he is not walking according to the purpose for which he was created.
