I know a little about her
But, I don't think I know enough
Wanting to get to what's behind
The smile I adore so much
Somehow, wanting to get closer
Beyond close enough to touch
Being beyond her sexiness
And any simple feelings of lust

My situation is solid & stable
Lord knows, I've paid my dues
Still, I 'm working on my future
Tightening any loose screws
Her smile is extremely delightful
I feel it's a tool I could use
Thus, I’ll make efforts to keep in-touch
On any level she may choose

Chasing private moments of refuge
Whenever she's running through my mind
Prudently pondering the potential
That one day I may call her mine
Assessing what it’ll take to achieve this
The hills I may l have to clime
Imagining being so close to her
Whenever she’ll make the time

Perhaps, I'll learn of her future
Yes, the one she sees in her dreams
Learn the sources of her laughter
And all the songs that make her sing
Convincing to her to understand
My hopes to share more than a fling
There are queen like attributes I see
If ever, I were to be her king
