Black People : Whites Cannot Be African...

I think the author of that post [good post, I agree 100%] has already answered your question.

If you're of African descent and have a british accent, the next time a white asks you where you're from, tell them you're from England and watch their expression turn into one of denial and confusion, followed by a, "No, I mean where are you originally from"

Whites don't consider blacks in Europe to be European, never have, never will, so neither should Africans consider Europeans who reside on the continent to be African. It has been my lifetime experience as a black man living in Europe [25 years] that British citizenship conferred upon me by right of birth makes no difference in the eyes of the natives.
As far as they are concerned, I'm an African who happened to be born in England and as a consequence, do not have the right to be considered anything but African, you see it in their faces as soon as they lay eyes on you, "look, it's one of them" and I agree, I'm not European, not British [thankfully].
By that same token then, neither are whites living in Africa, African, never have been, never will be!

What's that Malcolm said about babies and ovens?

Peace,

Regional classifications are inherently flawed.

Unless I'm misunderstanding your comment here, yes indeed they are. A kangaroo taken out of Australia and transported to the United States is still a kangaroo. I felt this thread needed to be revived because of the current attack on Africa by Asians, Arabs, Europeans, et. al; much of what they rely and have relied upon to justify their existence and imperialist agendas there is a so-called "right" to be called 'African' based on the out-of-Africa theory.

Precise Allah,

I’m with you on this one Precise. The old racialist system of classification needs replacing with a more contemporary and accurate system. We tend to confuse biological attributes with culture when considering this antiquated and racist system of human classification.

Even the Out of Africa Theory cannot supplant territory, it appropriates the human ladder, so to speak, with a top and bottom melanated classification rung, genetically.

What are your thoughts on what Bro. Afrodaze1 has put on the table, and how do you line up with the current job applications, which attempts to place Whites as Africans?

I couldnt agree more, Uzoka...

I was born in and reside in the UK. I have what would be regarded as a 'cut glass' or 'queen's English' accent...this really confuses them, and I quite enjoy the perplexity with which I am met oftentimes...not to be cruel of course :D Just to confuse things further, when asked where I am from...knowing full well that they want me to state a country of 'origin', I simply state the name of my city suburb (LOL!!), smile sweetly then change the subject- just a bit of fun, you understand :D some of them just like to feel that they're 'in the know' about everything!
