True indeed! Honestly, if white people admitted certain things like the fact that they are more whites on welfare than blacks, a lot of this blame "the white man" stuff would disappear.
gogounited, you must have been doing some studying of black people because as I read the beginning of your post, I could see where your honesty might pull some of us in. I gotta tell you this, today is a new day, people of color are not caring about so called white honesty anymore, at least not the people of color who have seen, accept and realize that it has simply gotten them no where. Thanks for being honest, now I would like to be honest with you. Do you know that historically and presently, white people have probed or befriended black people for information, that they then turn around and pretend was their own idea? I think that you are aware of this because here you are, asking black people for their thoughts pertaining to that very issue. If you really want to help the world and all people in this world, it would be wise of you to do that without asking black people to provide you with the answers, it is up to you to desire so much a change, that the energy you seek from black people, will somehow come naturally to you. White people to this day go looking to befriend people of color, to learn their culture, or to so called help people of color. Let me just say this, if you really want to help a people, you will help them to help themselves and move on, you don't stick around because that makes you happy. I hope you find what you are looking for but you won't find it if you seek an easy way out in doing so. Look to yourself, figure out what it is about you that is so special that you can take back to convince your people that what they partake in is not right and that they need to change. A black person can not make a white person see the light. Sure, a black person can show white people the light or their perception of the light, but not make them see it. That job is up to you and those people who are like you. Black people can not spoon feed white people everything they need to know, we've all seen how far that has gotten this world. White people have to see the light for themselves, because they want to. If you don't do it for yourself, continuing in going around asking black people what are their thoughts, will begin to look like some sort of need for a challenging intellectual pursuit, verses an actual sincerity for spreading love in this world... you know what I mean? Greetings…..Just wanted to share some random thoughts that came up as *I listened in on this dialogue. Please know that I suffer from PTSS (Post Traumatic Slavery Syndrome) and people who have been traumatized typically express themselves in a somewhat disjointed fashion. White people are scary to me…that is…you represent danger and I must proceed with extreme caution. As you may see, the Brothers ARE my Warriors hence, their ability to comfortably and civilly engage with you. With that said It seems to me that the only one’s in “darkness” about said issues are your people. How about you take that flashlight of yours and go shine it on them. I sense they may be more likely to see the light if it is held by white hands. Besides, when our people have gone to shed the light of truth upon the heathens…I mean..your people, they were murdered. How:?: By being here with us:?: Says who:?: If someone stole all of your belongings are you suggesting you would go to them talking and teaching about the errors of their ways and not desire to have your stuff returned:?: As I see it, the return of those “things” will likely shed light on TRUTH…when they no longer are able to lay claim to “things” which are not theirs. Now I know you are not “internet savvy” so you are likely to miss the point that “things” in this context has very little to do with materials. It seems to me in true European thinking, you associated Brother Hellogood’s suggestion with mere “things” effectively marginalizing and minimizing the great theft and thievery or your people. And anyway…what does “internet savvy” have to do with doing what you came over here to do…ask questions and receive answers:?: oh lawd here we go….you don’t “think” so uh:?: How about applying science to find out for sure. Have you ever suggested to a white person it would be in their…no…the “human race” best interest if they would do so..return what they have stolen:?: Ask 100 hundred white people and come back and share the top five responses. My hypothesis is that most will DENY they have stolen anything. How do you think you can help them do that:?: Have you thought about that? I think white people are pretty darn dense in this area. Heck, it’s only been several hundred years here in amerikkka and countless of our Prophets who have worked to shed light on this shytuation and STILL, here you are in the year known as 2010 and they have not realized it yet :?: What Black people think about what:?: While you know no one in Colorado, you also know no one here. Yet, it did not stop you from introducing yourself and asking questions.
