    Metu Neter translates as "the word of God".
    it is a book written in 1990, i think, by a man named Ra Un Nefer Amen.
    it teaches a spiritual concept based on ancient egyptian thought.
    it is sold by many black book stores and vendors.
    it is generally NOT sold in white bookstores.
    that says something right there.

    i am studying it. the concepts have helped me out.
    i would highly recommend it to you.

    Sod.....Hi,

    Metu Neter translates as “The Language of the gods or from the gods”.

    It is understood as describing any drawings that represent a communication of an idea. It is the language of the gods because the gods communicated to the people through pictures and drawings. It is seen as Metu Neter because it was the first concept of communication thus it had to have come from the gods.

    When you see any ancient cave drawings; be it Egyptian or not, you can legitimately call that drawing Metu Neter because it was mans first concept of communicating in a universal method. The Egyptians considered anything that was First to be of the gods.

    METU = Degree

    METENU = Words, phrases

    MET = A single word

    METEN = A message, such as a letter or document

    When we see "METU NETER" it does not refer to language.

    Also, ANK MI RA in his book LET THE ANCESTORS SPEAK, showed us the difference between METU NETER, and METU NEFER.

    Thus, our Brother Elder James is correct in his statements.

    The Book of Life*

    Hotep

    The english language is very limited...meaning that there are more ways to express what is ment by the translation of "Coming forth by Day" and still leave room for more exploration into the (Book of the Dead) meaning of this advanced science of Spirituality given to "us" from the "Creator" of all. The word of the G-d's is a life long study...so we should not expect to always get a quick fix answer all the time...for sometime we may ask a question today and not get the answer to that question for a year or 10+ years...it all depends on ones sincerity and purenes of heart.
    The Book of Life - which represents the origanl sacred writhings and the words of life and peace. The ancient African sacred writings were known as the Medu Neteru (Medu - meaning words; and Neteru meaning G-d). Hence, the Medu Neteru was and should be called "G-d's Words" or "The word of G-d". The Medu Neteru is still spoken among the Master High Prist through out Africa and always has been and all ways will be. The Medu Neteru is what you see carved into the walls, temples and tombs when one goes to todays Egypt. The europeans found the sacred writhings under the heads of the "Mummies" they were robbing and called what they found and they had "No" understanding..."The Book of the Dead".

    Hi Sodwn2earth….

    I have the Metu Neter vol 1 and 2 and I will say this……..The only way you can classify the Metu Neter as being translated to mean the Word of GOD is to consider and believe the author of the Metu Neter to be GOD otherwise it is a narrative book narrated by the author.

    A man has been mistaken to be GOD before, there is no reason that it can’t happen again.

    not true, a man can write down the words of God as received from God. isn't that what Moses did? the man does not need to be God, only a secretary.

    BTW - as you oppose the Metu Neter itself, i find it offensive that you insert yourself into this thread.
    you are here as a wolf in sheep's clothing and i must say that i do not appreciate it.
    you show no class, no manners and no tact.

    i challenge U to write your own book, gather your own followers and leave the rest of us alone.

    No, METU NETER is not the "BOOK of the DEAD". For one thing, there is not such book as the "BOOK of the DEAD".

    Our Brother MOORFIUS spoke on the fact that this book was falsely called that by European "scholars" (in reality, a bunch of White grave-robbers) in Kemet.......The proper name for this book is the PERT EM HERU, which means "Book of Coming Forth By Day".

    The PERT was falsely named "BOOK of the DEAD", simply because they continuously found copies of it placed within the tombs of the deceased that they were robbing and desecrating.

    The word "DEAD, or DEATH, or DYING" does not appear in the book a single time. In reality, the Kemetians did not have a word for "DEATH", because they did not view the returning to the Essence, or the parting of the soul from the body in the same way that people do now.

    METU NETER is the guiding principle of life. In and of itself, it is not a book per-se.

    The PERT EM HERU contains METU NETER, just like some would say that the BIBLE or QUR'AN contains the "Word of God".

    The book "METU NETER" is simply a book that was written by a master in Kemetic theology, about METU NETER.

    It's no different than you going to the Christian bookstore, and buying a book about the Word of God, entitled "THE WORD OF GOD".

    That does not mean that this book is somehow authoritative.

    I hope that helps to clarify.

    PEACE
