Pan Africanism : Were the Moors Black?

HISTORIANS HAVE ACCOUNTED THAT CARTHAGE WAS A BLACK STATE, AS WERE PHONECIANS THEM SLEVES WERE A BLACK PEOPLE.mANY SICILIANS ARE DARK PEOPLE, SOME SAY DUE TO MIXING WITH INVADING CARTHAGINIANS.

I DO NOT HAVE THE ANSWERS BUT IN MY OPINION IF BLACKS ARE THE OLDEST PEOPLES ON THIS SO CALLED EARTH ACCORDING TO ARCHEOLOGY (AND DARKNESS OF SKIN) THEN AFRICANS MUST HAVE BEEN ON THE CONTINENT LONGER THEN BERBER SO WHERE DID BERBERS COME FROM?

WHAT COUNTRY R U FROM BTW?

GREAT THREAD

This is a lie and a very extreme form of Afrocentrism. Post some sources.

rather than saying people are lieing why don't you post the correct information? along with YOUR sources.
if you can clear things up that will be a valuable contribution.

Ok, about Carthage, it was not a mostly black African settlement, read this:

AMERICAN JOURNAL OF PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY 83:35-48 (1990)

Studies of Ancient Crania From Northern Africa, S.O.Y. KEITA

"Bertholon and Chantre (1913) noted non-Negroid and Negroid crania in neolithic Maghreban and Carthaginian graves, with the former predominating."

This quote is from a study published in a peer-reviewed anthropology journal, now please post your sources that state that Carthage[and Phoencians] was mostly black. There were numerous blacks there, I agree but Carthage was not mostly black.

"Sources" such as this also tend to classify Ethiopians as "caucasian".
