OMG!!! I love it! As I started to really think about this thread, I KNEW early on that there was a ton of stuff about it that I didn't know. Bro. Shikamaru...THANK YOU! I'm a little slow when it comes to this deeper way of thinking, but I'll give it my best. I feel there's much that I have to UN-learn in order for me to open my mind to learn NEW information. Looking forward to the new thread!!! Sis. Des....I love you

Do not let anyone deceive you when it comes to your ability to learn and think if you really want to. There are many people all over this country and planet who could not read and write until they were upwards of 50, 60, and even 80 years of age. When people reach a certain point in their lives and experiences , they can still decide and began to understand that there is more than what they have experienced in the past. If a person wants to progress further, the only thing that really held them back was themselves. This happens when there is no motivation or discipline on their part. They will seek knowledge by sacrificing what time they can to the task of learning. It has been proven through research that the mind can become stronger and absorb more knowledge when it is used and exorcised by adding information and more challenges to your mental regimen. We do not in general teach our children and guide them to understand that "instant gratification" limits ones accomplishments for the future. What we should teach them and ourselves also is that "long term,or delayed gratification" is more beneficial in the long run or the end. Without this understanding we limit our accomplishments in life. There was a game or test that was systematically given to children from about 6 years of age. The purpose was to test when the children could understand and comprehend the concept of Delayed Gratification. I put the test done on adults up because they were less disciplined that the little children. You can watch the children for yourselves after the adults showed no restraint. Now, is there any question as to why we cannot guide and teach our children to grow up in to mature parents and adults? Peace
