Brother Black Squared ... hmmmm ... i can't really help people with the perceptions they have of this community, as they are entitled to them.

All i can do is insure everyone, that they are welcome if they abide by our rules, and that has always been the case.

It doesn't matter to me, what color a person is, if they are willing to dialogue respectfully.

At the same time though, we have always had a very distinct purpose, and it's my job to make sure we remain true to it.

For example ... if i had started a site for cadillac owners, and the thread titles began saying pinto ... it would have lost its focus ... and that would be bad.

I'd mean no disrespect to pinto owners, it's just not what i intended our site to be about, and would encourage them to go find or build a pinto site.

Oftentimes there are a few things having to be balanced simultaneously, to keep our community humming along, at the peaceful and focused pace it does.

But please know ... everyone willing to dialogue respectfully ... within our rules and purpose and such ... are absolutely welcome and will be treated respectfully.

You'll find many threads about "other peoples" here ... it's happened more times than we can count ... i just don't want to see bunches of them on the home page.

Call me sensitive ... it's okay ...
