there seems to be some vibe that either a man is a thug or he is a punk. not so.
there is a whole class of men out there that are men without being thugs. open the door for a lady and stuff.
i grew up around thugs and they all knew i would kick they butt in a minute. i boxed at PAL.
to me, a thug ain't nothing but a punk. real brothers build up the community. thugs tear it down.
how they got popular with the ladies is beyond me. must be BET.

    Punk vs. Men

A punk to me is not a man...

REAL MEN aren't punks and they are not thugs. They stand for what they believe with dignity...with their head held high. Their voices do not go unheard.
Boys look up to him and Men respect him.
A real man can be introduced to a woman's family without hesitation or fear. A real man is something to be proud of. He is a king to his queen.

A punk has no spine. He might as well lay on the ground and blend in with the concrete, and let everyone walk all over him. He might as well take a pair of hedge clippers and go to work with his man parts and become the "you-know-what" that he is.

I'm not attracted to a thug or a punk either.

I want a man who is secure in himself.

I don't want an overbearing man.

    I don't want a wimp.

So-called "street cred" and being all "hard" does not impress me.

It even turns me off....usually alla that hyper-masculinity is just a mask for low self-esteem anyway.

An intelligent and confident man who can stimulate me mentally and make me laugh has a much greater chance than any so-called "Bad Boy."

I just don't see the need for a thug except as a "boy toy," just "something to do" in the meantime/between time. :em0200:
